About All Star Seattle Fishing Charters
An ex-Montana farm boy, I find myself up to my eyeballs in a couple things the Big Sky Country is short on-- Saltwater and Salmon .
Puget Sound and its Fishes have become not only my livelihood, but my cause and my passion as well, and I protect them as tenaciously in Olympia as I pursue them on Possession Bar.
My wife Susan and I own and operate All Star Fishing Charters in Everett, Washington and I skipper the Morning Star, a 28 foot Uniflite.
As president of the Charterboat Association of Puget Sound (CAPS), a member of the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife citizen Sportfishing Advisory Board and on the board of directors to National Association of Charterboat Operators (NACO). I spend a lot of time on the enhancement and protection of Sportfishing.
So what appeals to me the most about charter fishing?
When I first got into it I thought it was because I loved to fish. I do love to fish, but I've found the real appeal is the opportunity to meet new people every day and to build new friendships. It's a fun activity, people come out to have fun. They not forced to do it. they 're enthusiastic about it and always looking forward to the day. Under those circumstances it's impossible to have a bad experience.
" No one knows salmon fishing in local saltwater better than Everett charter skipper Gary Krein and Krein will share his techniques."
Wayne Kruse Everett Herald outdoor writer.
Aside from my trips as a youngster with my parents, Brother Mike and Uncle Jim on Michana's St Joe River, this was absolutely the greatest salmon fishing trip I have ever been on. I can't speak highly enough of captain Krein and his boat. Captain Krein was a pure pleasure to talk with and he was sincerely devoted to making sure Nicholas and I had a great experience. The pure beauty of the state of Washington and of the Puget Sound also made the trip memorable. If I ever get the chance to travel back to the Seattle area, you can bet that I will be booking another trip with Captain Gary Krein of All Star Fishing Charters.

"My wife and I were in Seattle for our 4 th wedding anniversary. We booked Captain Gary for salmon fishing on Puget Sound. Within 5 minutes we had FISH-ON and it didn't slow down the rest of the day. We caught salmon all afternoon, roughly 20+ keepers and 10 under. Captain Gary was great, he was patient with my wife who had fished very little, and very instructional with me, a seasoned angler, demonstrating the nuances of the structure, tidal patterns, and electronics involved with locating and catching fish. My wife and I had an absolute blast, I think Captain Gary made an angler out of my wife Kristina. The next time I am in the Seattle area, I will undoubtedly book Captain Gary for my salmon trip." Ted Martin
" We sure had a wonderful time on your Charter May 21st. You are an excellent guide and fisherman/fish finder.
"Thanks again for the great trip. We showed my cousin, who owns the boat, the pictures and he was impressed. He thinks we can show him the spot.... ha!" Take care! Mary
We could not have been more pleased. It was wonderful seeing my brothers and sister in law catch the big
